WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR THE ACNE PROGRAM?
Individuals who are experiencing inflammatory and/or non-inflammatory breakouts and have felt like they've tried it all. If you want to truly understand your acne, and treat it holistically without medication, you will be a perfect fit for this program.
WHO IS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR THIS PROGRAM?
The program is not restricted from anyone, unless:
They have serious, underlying conditions that require medical attention or are contraindicated for treatment. You will be notified at your consultation if this is something beyond the legal scope of an esthetician.
They are currently taking Accutane, or took it within the last 6 months. Accutane users are required to be OFF their medication for a minimum of 6 months.
They are a minor. Anyone who is under the age of 19, according to Alabama law, will have to receive parental consent before starting the program.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
Your initial appointment will begin with a thorough discussion about diet, lifestyle, treatments, and skin care products to clear and calm your acne. We will go over your intake form (filled out at booking), analyze your skin to understand your needs, take photos for your file to track your progress over time, perform a sensitivity test to assess your skin’s barrier, and perform a customized treatment. You will be given documents with tons of tips, advice, and instructions to help you achieve your goals. This price does not include products, so prepare to spend $150+ on your routine. Home care is REQUIRED to ensure success in the program.
WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO COME IN FOR TREATMENTS EVERY 2-3 WEEKS?
Meeting every 2-3 weeks for a treatment allows us to ensure that your skin is receiving a regular deep cleanse, exfoliation, and professional extractions. It allows us to closely track your progress and make the necessary modifications to your routine, lifestyle, and skincare regimen. Appointments every 2-3 weeks is what ensures that you have great results within 90 days.
If you can’t come to the studio for a treatment every 2-3 weeks, you can just reach out to your esthetician via email for any routine modifications and recommendations.
ARE VIRTUAL CLIENTS ELIGIBLE FOR THE ACNE PROGRAM?
Yes! Whether you live across the country, or just aren’t able to make the trip to see us in person, virtual clients are eligible for the Face Reality Acne Program.
It may take a bit longer to see dramatic results, because we won’t be able to do in-person treatments, but the home care is by far the most important component in this program. As long as you can commit to following your esthetician-recommended routine every day, you will see results.
